Welcome!!
I've been often asked for how to's and recipes on health. I'm no Dietitian or Nutritionist but know quite a few. I've also grown up in health and love to share the knowledge I know and save people the time of the research. I absolutely love research and always learning. If you have some healthy recipes or ideas I'd love to hear them, but be prepared that I might modify them - I'm always conscious of MODERATION-CARBOHYDRATE/PROTEIN AMOUNTS-REAL FOOD PROCESSING!
There is always room to have take out or other events- but my motto is "Is it worth it?" Am I eating something that's not great for my body because I'm tired? Well "Why am I tired??! What have I been eating or not doing?"
Eating to socialize an event- just fine- BUT no over-eating! I try to eat what I would at home...
My favorite foods to eat out are always Asian or Thai (minus the MSG)
Fast Food is just that- fast to your waist, butt & thighs!
I have been fighting being diabetic since I can remember! It is rampant in my genetics and the doctors are amazed I have dogged it, even through my pregnancies! Yea Me! It's taken lots of learning but so rewarding! I do NOT agree with the American Diabetic Diet or any Diet for that matter! If you can put carbs, proteins, healthy fats and live foods and enzymes in your diet you can love living life! I do love raw food eating but one way of eating is NOT the answer for anyone.
You can feel good by doing many things- you just have to find your routine and what makes you feel good.
I love eating in the season of food too!
Right now I'm studying Sprouting and Raw Foods for family living.
